Annie Loch is the founder of Dandelion Joy Music. She received her BA from Carleton College where she studied music, education, and English. She went on to get her Masters in Social Work at the University of Minnesota. She is currently a Mental Health Support Specialist for the Minneapolis Public Schools school district, and has worked with youth for over twenty years as a teacher, social worker and mentor. She is a songwriter who loves the process of bringing a song to life. She plays the ukulele, trumpet, accordion, and piano.

Veronica Arroyo has been playing piano since she was 12 years old. She enjoys teaching piano in a fun way and brings a great understanding of theory to her teaching. Veronica loves all kinds of music and hopes to bring that same love and joy to her students. She went to school at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).

Ahjahlai Cargill has been performing voice since she was a young child. She is a member and soloist for the Gospel Choir Known as well as a worship leader at her church. Ahjahlai helps lead the Dandelion Joy Grief Groups as the resident artist. Ahjahlai believes in the power of a young person’s singing voice. In her voice lessons, students will learn to practice strengthening and steadying their breath, increase their awareness of perfect pitch, move comfortably while singing, work on rhythm and develop a firm understanding solfège and harmonies.
