Small Skills Group
When we feel anxious, we often also feel isolated. Know that you are not alone – many amazing, awesome, fun, creative, thoughtful, wonderful people struggle with managing anxiety all around you. It can be intimidating to join a group, but know that we have been running groups for many years and will make sure you feel comfortable and safe.
Our Skills Group is a six-week long class that meets once a week for one hour. The skills class is a fusion of movement, Mindfulness thinking and Cognitive Behavioral skills education and practice. You will not be asked to share anything that you are not comfortable sharing – most work will be done individually and you will only share if the moment seems right for you! We will not pressure you. Just coming is brave and we want you to feel your courage every minute you are with us.
